Based in an incredible location, right by the beach and the woods, immersed in nature.

Yoga practice is for overall health and rolling with all the seasons is priority. The passion for traditional hatha yoga & Ayurveda as two sister sciences are what Kate Pierre/Sandgate Yoga is all about, where vibrancy and calm become one.

Kate Pierre’s home and yoga practise have been inspired by her beloved family, friends and travels. Time specifically in Mexico, India, Italy and on the island of Hispanola (our 2nd home is Haiti & Republica Dominicana) gave the teachings now deeply embedded and an appreciation of the sacred earth with spiritual richness in daily life.

The classes are taught after taking the yoga 500hr training plus home-studies of Ayurveda (the science of life based in the 5 elements, working to prevent disease, creating harmonious longevity )for years. Variation of techniques for pranayama, hatha yoga, steady vinyasa, meditation are all offered in a simple, fun and natural surrounding.

Those who seek spirit, find the deeper sense of union for all and experience new boundries, beyond the imagination. Through sound, our earth, waters, fire and air is life, in all its glory for us to embrace, share and love for eternity. Yoga means union. Peace, joy and health in abundance, by day and by night.

The time is now x

Wise and inspiring words Kate. That is what I love about the way you teach the practise - the energy, light, the layers, depth, the subtle nuances of practise. Gratitude and blessings.

I enjoyed every part of the Yoga workshop. As I am a complete beginner, it was just enough Yoga for me to follow and not feel overwhelmed or behind. The food element is a lovely touch and I think this is also an important reminder in the world we live in that we can eat much healthier with a bit more thought and effort!

Thank you, the Trio workshop was a great way to spend a cold Saturday in November, the yoga was beautiful, the pranayama invigorating, food was delicious and walk was wonderful. Highlights for me were the humming, power balls and sharing our experiences, but best of all meeting and spending time with some truly lovely ladies.
